I don’t know about you, but I’ve always found Fortnum & Mason to be a rather special place. It’s not just a shop, it’s a haven of foodie delights and lots more.

I’ve been lucky enough to be invited to a few events in the store’s Food & Drink Studio, and most recently the launch of Fortnum’s Kitchen, a new and exclusive collection of flavour-packed ingredients and beautifully designed homeware.

The collection is aimed at folk who enjoy cooking and want to elevate their home cooking experience. Designed to add a generous dollop of Fortnum’s joy to the everyday kitchen experience, this range offers some really exceptional and incredibly tasty (trust me, I’ve tasted quite a few of them!) culinary ingredients.

These include:

Flavour Pastes & Marinades, from £6.95

Incorporate world flavours in a quintessentially Fortnum’s fashion and transform dishes with unexpected yet effortless additions like Miso & Black Garlic Flavour Paste, (which was surprisingly good drizzled over vanilla ice cream) Honey & Smoked Harissa Paste, and Fennel, Anchovy & Preserved Lemon Paste.

Nut Pastes, from £8.95

A unique launch for baking and beyond, the range of pure and sweetened nut pastes can be used in patisserie or eaten alone and includes IGP Piedmont Hazelnut Paste, Sicilian Pistachio Paste, Sweet Almond Paste, and Sweet Italian Pistachio Paste.

Balsamic Jelly, £12.95

Choose from Cherry or Rose. Both are excellent pairings for meat and cheese and quick additions to gravies and sauces.

Infused Olive Oils, from £7.95

A capsule range of flavoured extra virgin olive oils made by cold pressing fresh olives directly together with aromatics. Choose from Garlic, Basil, Chilli, or my favourite – orange-infused EVOO – all ideal for dressing, drizzling, and more.

Brilliant Basics, from £18.95

Essentials for the discerning home cook, including Italian, Spanish, and Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oils covering a breadth of flavours and different processes and origins, Condimento Bianco – ideal as a marinade, in cocktails, in salads, or to deglaze a pan – and Rosé Balsamic Vinegar – the perfect addition to bitter leaf salads and earthy vegetables.

Finishing Flourishes, from £7.95

Add a burst of flavour to uplift, elevate, and complete dishes with Gold Balsamic Vinegar, Chilli-Infused Olive Oil, Smoked Chipotle and Chocolate Hot Sauce, and Lime and Green Chilli Hot Sauce.

And Fabulous Homeware Too!
