8th June 2023; In a world full of Jiggery Pokery, what better way to spend an evening than laughing at the ridiculous claims and the increasing layers of nonsense experienced in our everyday lives? Cawston Press’ No Jiggery Pokery Comedy Show promises just that: a night of stand-up comedy, offering an evening of side-splitting laughter and entertainment, where comedians will take to the stage with a fun and honest upbeat delivery.

Taking place at London’s iconic Clapham Grand, for one night and one night only, don’t miss out on tickets to the No Jiggery Pokery Comedy Show, available to purchase now at link.dice.fm. The event will be supporting FareShare via a donation and raising awareness for the charity’s mission to fight hunger and tackle food waste in the UK. The money raised will help FareShare get good-to-eat food, that may otherwise go to waste, to over a million people across the UK, many of whom are being impacted by the cost of living crisis.

Who is Performing?

Hosting the evening will be popular British comedian, Lou Sanders (as seen on Taskmaster, QI and Would I Lie to You?), who will be joined by a stellar line up of some of the hottest names in comedy: radio host and podcaster Pierre Novellie, double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Ahir Shah, and Mock The Week regular Glenn Moore.

What’s it in Aid of?

The comedy evening aims to raise awareness and donations to Cawston Press’ charity partner, FareShare, the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors. For more than 23 years, FareShare has been working with the food industry to identify quality, in date surplus food, and redistribute it to nearly 9,500 frontline charities and community groups across the country, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. FareShare reached over 1 million people with food during the course of 2022, an average of over 20,000 individuals per week.
